4th of July Celebration
“A Day on and Around Fox Lake”
This celebration is sponsored by the Fox Lake Chamber of Commerce, the FLPO, and Ergo Bank along with many other local businesses and individuals. It is held on Saturday, July 6. The day begins with a parade on Blackhawk Trl. It continues on with a Boat Parade at 5pm, followed by live music from 6:30pm until dusk at Riverside Park. Food and refreshments will be available. One of the area's best fireworks displays begins at dusk. Come by car or boat. Riverside Park and the public boat launch area at Riverside Park offer excellent viewing. The west and north shores of the lake also offer great viewing opportunities. When the fireworks end, stick around and watch the parade on the lake as all the lighted boats head for home. The alternate rain date for fireworks is Sunday, July 7.
